On 9th February, 2019 Pamoja
Youth Initiative (PYI) through Leadership Development Program conducted leadership
training to the student's organization at Mpapa Secondary School located at
Central District in Unguja. The training involved 25 students from Mpapa Secondary
School student's organization
The training aimed at building
the capacity of student’s leaders on leadership, self-management as well as
goal setting. This training was facilitated by Our Chairperson Mr. Rashid
Mwinyi who is also a member of Feed the Future Tanzania Advancing Youth
Advisory Council, Ms. Asma Ali, Finance and Administration Officer and Mr.
Shineni Haji.
The training oriented the participants
on the concept of leadership, qualities of a good leaders, mentorship, goal
setting, time management and team building activities.
The training was very productive
and the students were very keen to participate.
